2014 CMLAC Cross Country Season

7 Apr 2014 by Justin Doherty

Why Cross Country?
• Compete each Sunday against other clubs
• Win individual and team medals on Open Days
• Build strength and endurance to improve your Summer Results
• Prepare for interschool competition
• Optional training usually on Wednesday’s at 5:00PM

All CMLAC Summer Athletes are invited to compete in the Cross Country Season. Cross Country represents an exciting opportunity to compete against other clubs and athletes throughout the winter. It is great training to develop strength and endurance in preparation for interschool Cross Country and to improve your Summer Results.

Competitions occur on Sunday morning and the program is much shorter than the Summer Competition with all athletes finished by 11:30am. In most instances athletes only need to be present for 1 hour to warm-up and compete in their event.

Events are hosted by each club at their home venue. Please refer to the 2014 Cross Country Calendar for competition dates and details available soon on the App and our website at www.cmlac.com.au

Registered summer athletes only need to pay approximately $37.00 fee to cover all entry fees for the season. If you are not registered with CMLAC you will need to register online with the club in order to compete at an approximate cost of $75.00.
